EHL Sustainability Week 2024
Join the movement and raise awareness for social and environmental sustainability, from March 25 to 28th.
All week at Shadwood balcony (Lausanne) and at the Lobby (Passugg). This game will bring together participants to engage in a fun and educational experience.
Attendees can either play a board game that revolves around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and climate action or reached Net Zero by 2050 as the Newly appointed Global Minister for Future Generations in an online simulation proposed by Financial Times.

Discover key facts about sustainability all around our campus, participate in the many on-site activities to raise awareness for social and environmental sustainability!
The event educates students about the rewarding experience of growing fresh produce themselves. It fosters team bonding and is the main activity for Sustainable Week at Campus (Singapore). Each team (2 to 3 students) receives mushroom growing kits and water sprays. Results will be compared, and prizes awarded to the team with the best plant.
Faculty are also invited to participate.

Join us to celebrate the launch of the 2024 Social and Environmental Report. During a 30 minutes presentation, the Sustainability Team will showcase their work throughout the year and the upcoming projects. At 09:30, enjoy a breakfast with the team and get a chance to ask your questions to get detailed information on their work and the data published!
Meeting Point: Ouchy Olympique M2 Metro Station
Plogging is a combination of jogging (or walking) and picking up litter. Originating in Sweden, this eco-friendly fitness trend involves participants picking up trash while they exercise outdoors. Plogging not only helps reduce pollution but also promotes community engagement and environmental awareness.
2 itineraries possible:
- an easy track: 5km along the lake
- a good training for the 20km Lausanne Race: 10km from the Lake to the city center with a good elevation gain.

An interactive panel discussion focusing on sustainable food systems organized by the Irish Business Network Switzerland during which sustainability experts from different fields will share their insights. A unique occasion to learn more about the Irish Green Origin plan and get a wider perspective on the sustainability challenges food systems need to address. The event will take place in N_402.

As part of their curriculum, the sustainability major class has studied improvement potential in all areas of the EHL Campus Passugg. The results of this study will be presented during this session, open to anyone who wishes to participate.

Location: Meetup in the pod (small open space) next to the stairs leading to Shadwood entrance
This guided walking tour will take you behind the scenes to discover how sun turns into energy on the campus roof, how our waste gets a second life and how we use garden-to-the-table concept in our restaurants.
Limited edition for ten participants with complimentary breakfast (vegetarian-friendly)! After the tour, continue exchanging with your peers and explore further facts & figures about EHL’s sustainability impact showcased in the pod. Warm welcome to students, staff, and faculty!
Take part in a special Local and Sustainable Concept lunch prepared with love by our chefs Nicolas and Julien. A Beelong analysis will be made on the menus to raise awareness on the important impact of ingredients in food.
