Our vocational training initiative addresses the lack of qualified personnel in the different departments of the Swiss hotel and restaurant industry. We aim to offer Swiss hoteliers and restaurants owners access to a pool of future employees who completed a 10-week accelerated EHL vocational training program.
Your future employees will benefit from the world-class expertise of EHL practitioners, who will share their extensive experience as hoteliers, F&B managers or Chefs. Their progress will be boosted by the learning infrastructure and teaching excellence of EHL, ranked world’s #1 in hospitality education.
We source potential employees and train them on our Lausanne campus. We provide training resources, accommodation and board for individuals with limited financial means. As the future employer, you contribute to the training costs in exchange for a 2-years work commitment from the trainee.
During 10 weeks, your future employees will practice daily in the different EHL food outlets and hospitality infrastructure. They will follow intensive language courses and learn the values of the Swiss hospitality.

Participants will follow a rigorous and intensive program spanning 10-weeks. They will be evaluated weekly on practical techniques and competencies. The workshop format will help build their soft skills.
