President of the Foundation for Scholarships and Honorary Loans
Jonathan Stent-Torriani was elected President of the International Advisory Board of EHL Hospitality Business School by the Board of Governors of EHL effective July 8th, 2022, succeeding Emanuel Berger, who successfully led the IAB since 2012. He was also elected President of the EHL Foundation for Scholarships and Honorary Loans in February 2022.
From a hotel family, Jonathan has a degree from McGill University (BA) and is a graduate of EHL Hospitality Business School, having thirty years of experience in the hospitality and catering industries. Previously CEO of Nuance Australasia, President of GateGroup EMEA, and CEO Compass Group Southern Europe, he is co-CEO & co-founder of Newrest Group, a multi-sector catering company present in 56 countries as well as co-owner and managing partner of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Montreal, Canada.
Jonathan is a Board Member of the IAB since 2004, and the EHL Foundation for Scholarships and Honorary Loans, and serves on the boards of the McGill University Bensadoun School of Retail and IFCO AG. He is married to Delphine, a graduate of EHL, has three daughters, and lives in Geneva, Switzerland.
